Patent and Policy
LeadCrafters Technology for page delivery and lead generation is protected under US Patent # 7,904,335 and several other patents pending.
Although occasionally there have been those who have tried to copy this technology without breaching the patent laws, they quickly and rightfully lost any grounds for continuing to do business by stealing. There are none who have succeeded. And every one who has tried, has become painfully and regretfully aware that a strategic and amicable alliance with LeadCrafters would have been far less costly financially, AND even more critical, less costly to their own reputations. Not only were they in violation of US Law, but they were transferring that liability onto the shoulders of the customers who had trusted them with their interests.
Yes, YOU MAY BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. As website owners, you should take great care that the intellectual property being used and shown on your sites are owned free and clear by either yourself, the website design company, or a third party with which you have a use agreement of some kind. If you don’t know who owns the technology or intellectual property you are using or displaying, you may be vulnerable.
Before you even consider any alternative service providers who claim to be able to bring you service even remotely comparable to LeadCrafters service, be sure you have your legal department thoroughly investigate the proposing party’s claims and determine the potential ramifications of knowingly or unknowingly breaching this patent or any others.
Ask yourself, “If my provider is using stolen technology, or even technology they have tried to replicate, Why would they do that?” If the answer is EVER “To Make More Money”, we recommend you look elsewhere. If their efforts aren’t clearly in line with improving the success of their customers, then they don’t have your best interests in mind.
At LeadCrafters, yes… we need to make money. But our goals are simple and fall in place in the following order:
- Do right by our customers.
- Do right by those with whom we have alignments, such as affiliates and referrers.
- Do right by our potential customers.
- Do right by our staff and ourselves.
- Earn money.
If there is ever a conflict between any of these goals, the higher one wins.
Keep your website provider in line and get a guaranty that their technology does not breach US Patent # 7,904,335.
